rather support him by buying his pre-2010 specials. so yeah, I love the guy, and I still consider Louis to be the funniest comedian currently alive, but I wouldn't recommend watching this special.

"Shameless" (2007) is his funniest special and I laughed about a dozen times in that special. They have a good few years and then it's over.Īnd I'm sorry but if Louis can only make me laugh twice after I've listened to him for a whole 60 minutes, then he's clearly not as funny as he used to be. so no, comedians DON'T get better with age apparently. for example: Bill Burr AND Dave Chappelle used to be absolutely hilarious (top 5 comedians alive), but the both of them (just like Louis) haven't put out anything good in the past few years. Maybe he's just getting old? A decade can make a huge difference in somebody's life, and although you'd expect a comedian to just get better and funnier as they get more experience, I'm afraid that in reality this simply isn't true. Unfortunately in recent times (actually the past decade) Louis hasn't put out anything really amazing, like he did in the old days. I am a big fan of Louis and I hold his previous stand-ups "Shameless" (2007), "Chewed Up" (2008) and "Hilarious" (2010) in high esteem. It's considered a sign of an untalented comedian, if the comedian harps-on about one particular subject or uses the same premise repeatedly, and Louis did several jokes about religion. wouldn't pay $8 for that reallyįirst off: It contains a BUNCH of blasphemy jokes.
